I'm building a new computer and have everything picked out for it but the computer case I want keeps going out of stock so I figure if that case is so popular I want something different. I'm looking for a small computer case, seems to be called "shoe box" or "cube" a lot, with no front cover and at least one side panel window.
This is the case I was going to get so you have a idea what I'm looking for: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811133044

Anyone have any suggestions?? It also has to be under $100.

Do a quick search for Lanbox Lite on fleebay and Amazon.

Just now there is one for sale on ebay UK (maiden bit of 99 pence), but its probably not feasible for you in the US,but there are also 26 listings on ebay US !
There are also a few on Amazon.

Building you own computer is fun ! Just managed to convince SWMBO that we NEED a mediacenter !

:guitar:

OOPS ... just realized you now want something different. Well, maybe my answer will still help you if you change your mind.

I always thought this one (http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0300159) was interesting.

I've seen that case before and like it but for me I'd need something a bit more protective, we've got four cats and a dog at my house, plus I'm bringing my computer over to friends houses a lot, so I'd be afraid of it getting damaged. The main reasons I like these "shoe box" cases is they don't look like all those boring towers, and they're smaller so it's easier to carry. My computer I have right now is probably near the 40pound mark with it's steel mid-tower case and all the stuff in it, when I built it I had no plans on taking it places, now I've got friends constantly asking me to bring it over to play games on it because the graphics are better then their PS3 (lmao).
