View Full Version : [ubuntu] Ubuntu 9.10 mouse diappears to the top right corner

I have installed Ubuntu 9.10 recently and it is working very well. However, I often come across a nasty situation with my mouse. It disappears to the top right corner of the screen and stays there for some time. I just keep moving mouse on the pad, it comes out from there and becomes normal again.

When I did a 'dmesg' I see the following errors appearing:
[ 2257.759529] psmouse.c: Explorer Mouse at isa0060/serio1/input0 lost synchronization, throwing 1 bytes away.
[ 2258.263047] psmouse.c: resync failed, issuing reconnect request
[ 2823.041324] psmouse.c: Explorer Mouse at isa0060/serio1/input0 lost synchronization, throwing 1 bytes away.

It appears many times in this log. Any clue how to fix this? or any update/upgrade stuff to address this issue.

And another to add, some times when it happened so, hundreds of 'Trash' windows opens continuously. And stop on their own. I have to close them all one by one.

Appreciate any help.
