Hello,

I have windows vista 64 bit installed on my machine. I'm running it on a RAID 1 setup with two 1TB drives. I'd like to install Ubuntu 10.04 on a third 1TB drive with no RAID. The drive is not part of the windows setup, it's brand new in the box.

I have dual booted windows and linux before but never with windows installed on RAID. Do I need to make any changes to the normal installation procedure? Can I just throw in my new HD and install Ubuntu and let GRUB take care of the details?
