I set up a bootable flash drive to install netbook remix onto my acer. I restarted the Acer and told it to boot from the usb. It booted Ubuntu; however, the selections (try Ubuntu without full installation, Install Ubuntu, Etc.) were somewhat jumbled. The first option cut off the text so that I couldn't read the end of the line. I aslo checked out YouTubes and saw that I had never selected English at the beginning when everyone else went through this step.
I selected the second option: install, the Ubuntu symbol flashes for 5 sections, and then the screen goes blank. I'm not sure what went wrong or how to fix it.
