Karmic since October. It was a little rough at first: package installs would hang at exactly 50% for a long time before reporting a failure even though the packages would work. Problem eventually went away presumably with an update. Anyway, Karmic was when I gave up dual booting for good and dumped Vista altogether. I've got the latest Lucid Beta on a flash drive but I'm waiting for the release before installing. I'm a bit of a late-comer to this party having only used Ubuntu regularly since Intrepid.

I've been using Ubuntu since 6.06; right now I have Ubuntu 10.04 which I've been using since the first alpha was released in December.

9.10 is what I'm using. Was using the Lucid beta, but as it developed (beta 2) performance and stability issues developed due primarily to my older hardware (my ati card being the number one likely problem).

It's a shame because, with the early beta1 I was seeing performance improvements over 9.10, but as the kernels developed I was seeing how minor hardware issues were becoming major system faults. It's too bad there have been no hybrid solutions that allow backward compatability, but it is a lot to ask from what is primarily a volunteer base of programmers...
