That looks good. I would have put windows8 on the wallpaper instead of 7 if it were me. Then anyone that runs windows that saw it would be dying for it, and it would make the differences not need an explanation.

Let me know when you finish it. I would like a copy.

I don't see a lot of people installing a new OS just for the looks; can't you make an installer or package that just transforms the theme, icons, panel etc.?
Will probably be a bit harder but way more practical.

In the first minute, maybe, but later they'll find out the changes anyway, when installing software or what else...

No offense But a really better clone theme of windows 7 is available here. (http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Win7+Transformation+Pack+for+Ubuntu?content=113909 )

Have you used that theme?
If not try using it.

not another one of these threads again.

this concept is like giving five colours to a guy who only ever used black paint to do murals.

upon receiving the extra five colours he proceeds to mix them so they are as close to black again.

Hmmmmm,i still think its very bad organized. I love gnome look a lot more......its just.....easier to use, easier to organize stuff.....and 1000 more reasons why i preffer Gnome over Win7 interface.
