I was looking through the help wanted internet ads and figured I'd apply at Staples

Geez!!! IE 5.x, 6.x, Netscape 7.x and Win 98? Where are these people coming from? One plus point they know Window XP.

Yup...that's Staples alright. They wouldn't hire me for their 'computer department' because I have a degree in IT. Seriously. They also only want people with a MAXIMUM of a high school diploma for management.

That's probably for the same reason PC World fired my mate.

He would explain how to fix stuff instead of trying to flog them solutions.

Yeah, I thought we were beyond the IE thing. It's been a while since I ran across that problem

IE 5&6 are not even recomended for use anymore due to security issuses! I wouldn't even consider sending personal information over them.

I have heard of people having to upgrade to access certain sites, but never down grade.

interactmath.com did this to me the other day. They let you use Firefox, but it has to be on Windows. The user agent switch wouldn't work either.

My Easy Button turns my computer on. I wired it to the power pins on the motherboard so I don't need to reach under my desk all the time :)
