I try to install "netbook remix" on a new and fresh "Samsung N220".
I created a USB-Flashdrive with the "netbook remix" image.

It work in a virtual machine without any problems.

The N220 boot from USB and show me the first ubuntu screen. After selecting "Install Ubuntu netbook remix" and "Try Unbuntu netbook remix with" the white and smooth blinking ubuntu logo is displayed for about 5 seconds. After this the screen turn to black. Nothing happen anymore. No harddrive activity. The machine is still on.

Did anyone has problems like this with an N220?

I tried to creat the same image on a CD and booted from extern USB-CD-Drive. This work fine. No problems while installing.

Creating the same image on USB-Stick make it bootable but the installation routine crash. Don't know why.
