Hi, I have recently upgraded my Lucid Lynx 10.04 with an automatic script to update some issues. After this I thought I would remove some packages that were obsolete. After restarting, my laptop is hanging on "Freeing initrd memory: 8005k freed".
It is an Asus M51N. The packages that were removed were mainly old linux-headers/images.
I have tried removing it from AC and this is how far it went. BIOS won't let me change anything at all.
What are my options here?
