I running the beta version of 10.04 lts. In 19 days the final version comes out.
my question is will there just be a final patch or do I have to reinstall the new version.

As long as you update, your version will have all the same packages as the final version.
So reinstalling is not a requirement...

I had a grub error when i tried to install the 10.4, and a lot of problems ensued. so im going to wait till the release i think. what causes a grub error when updating
