i had installed KDE some time ago, but i removed it. But still i cant remove the startup kubuntu logo..... i tried sudo ln -sf /usr/lib/usplash/usplash-theme-ubuntu.so /etc/alternatives/usplash-artwork.so but this only removed the logout screen. please help.
