My 19' Dell monitor has a native resolution of 1440x900. Ever since I installed Ubuntu on it, Nvidia X Server Settings (System -> Administration) allows me to display at a higher resolution (if not set to Auto I am able to set it at 1920x1080) than my Native and what Windows Vista allowed me in the past. My question is will running on a higher resolution have a negative impact on the Image Quality, my screen or any other hardware?
