Well, I had to look high and low...... :^o

1. http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=linux+file+manager
2. http://www.linuxlinks.com/article/20081224191928555/FileManagers.html
3. http://www.linuxlinks.com/article/20080409161552309/Xfe.html

It has "Tooltips with file properties", which I think is what you want.

There might be others on that first list that have it. He may have to try several before he finds one he likes, but this one is designed to be like windows explorer.

If he's already using nautilus, then he should look through the nautilus extensions available through apt.
apt-cache search nautilus

Well, thanks-but it seems that i have to change file manager...? And i just donīt want to do that. I am using nautilus.
So, maybe the question should be-how to display files/folders infos pointing mice cursor on them in nautilus file manager?
