View Full Version : Theme doesn't load properly

Has anyone else had this problem?

Sometimes when I log on, I find that the theme (specifically the window borders and icons) didn't load properly, and that I instead get a set of grayish window borders (Raleigh, I believe) and the gray GNOME icons. Sometimes the window borders corrects itself, but the icons stay the same. Reloading compiz doesn't help, and the only solution I found was to logoff/logon.

hmm I upgraded to 10.04 and I don't run into this problem anymore, it's probably fixed

I'm also running into this problem in 10.04, I'll post back when/if I figure it out.

Me too.

I found out that if u right click on the desktop and then go to "Change Desktop Background" the panels and the window's borders come back to the normal theme. Icons and nautilus stay the same anyway :(

Hi, looks like it is still happening on Ubuntu Maverick 10.10. It happens rarely though (maybe once every 30 log-ons)

Like before, the only solution I have found is to log off/on. :(
