View Full Version : [ubuntu] removing kubuntu login from ubuntu

i have ubuntu 9.10 and i tried kubuntu desktop didnt like it ununstalled it but it still has the kubuntu login and asks me which desktopi want to login as. so in my eyes it is not yet removed how can i get it completely removed short of reinstalling?

thanks that was a very fast reply. it worked! lol even tho i had to do a hard reset afterwards. ive heard theres a way to restart i think what they call x server (basicly the GUI interface) but lol unless you have those commands memorized your stuck at a completely CLI interface (basicly no navigation) anyway thanks for the quick responce and help
