which desktop?

I am just waiting for my netbook so I couldn't install "netbook remix". ;)

On all pictures I see a desktop environment modified for small screens. It looks nice and ergonomic. But which desktop is it?

Is it possible to use LXDE wihtout loosing this type of ergonimic and modified desktop seen on the pictures?

Its gnome with a special launcher and an applet that keeps the window decoration and controls in the top panel.
If you want LXDE you could simply install and add the launcher program to the autostart apt://netbook-launcher.
