iam new bee here..! today when tried to install a software from the terminal...d command dint work..
check ths.

it says tht it cannot get lock! help me out! i hav installed ubuntu along wth windows! and drive E: is in windows

Do you have something like synaptic package manager or software center running? If so, shutting it down will help solve the problem.
