I am relatively new to Linux and Ubuntu, about six months. installed 9.1 and loving it.I recently upgraded from a 200 lb 19" monitor to a 23" flat screen, brand Hanns·G HH-231HPB Black 23". However, since plugging it in all is well until until the main screen. The video roll up the screen for about 2 seconds and then the screen goes black for another two seconds. This repeats constantly. There is a message saying configuring (i think from the monitor). I have restarted a few times but to no avail. Any ideas or similar experiences.
