Hi,
for school we have to design a pc based on old components.
The idea is to install edubuntu on one prototype machine => configure everything => make a Image of the install => copy this image to the other machines.
Problem: The hardware varies based on the fact that we use old used components so I figured that we canīt simply copy the image over to all the other oneīs because of driver issues.
=> Is this assumption correct?
If I am correct with this we would need some kind of virtualization software to emulate the same hardware basis everytime. So basically a vm software which operates directly on the hardware without an os as basis. Is there something like that out there?
