I purchased a Buffalo WIL-UC-GN usb network..thing, so that i could access wireless internet (my broadcom network thing isn't working anymore for some reason). I found in another forum that the driver needed for it to work on Linux is a certain package called RT2870, which i have downloaded. i found this through this site, which displays the product as well: http://forums.ncix.com/forums/index.php?mode=showthread&msg_id=2026623&threadid=2026623&forum=105&product_id=37959&msgcount=0&overclockid=0

the actual package can be downloaded through here:
http://web.ralinktech.com/ralink/Home/Support/Linux.html (for some reason that link on the first page wont work for me, so i'm adding this one just in case you experience the same problem)

I downloaded it, and extracted it, but got stuck. I used the package manager to "add it", but it didnt do anything once i clicked "open", and i'm not very good at using the terminal yet, so i was wondering if someone could show me how exactly to install this driver onto my computer, please?
