I have two laptops running ubuntu 9.10 and both have the same arcutecture. So i am wondering weather I can set up to have one download and two updates eg I download the update on one and it installs on both. Both of these laptops are networked together via a router if that helps.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to do this as it should save a lot of time and downloads.

Use APTonCD (http://aptoncd.sourceforge.net/index.html) to create an ISO file and copy that over to the other machine and install the updates from that.

Good Luck
