View Full Version : [SOLVED] Windows Manager Theme- Glossy

April 8th, 2010, 11:23 PM
I am very sorry if this is a simple question, but I cannot find an answer on my own. I installed a new appearance theme on Ubuntu 10.04 beta 2, Clearlooks Dark. My problem is that when I attempt to use this theme I get an error message saying, "This theme will not look as intended because the required window manager theme 'Glossy" is not installed." Please, any help would be amazing, I have AS so I get a little crazy when my projects do not workout right.

I was able to fix the issue, although I am not quite sure how I did it. I opened synaptic package manager, searched "themes", and install everything in the log file below. Thank you to anyone who tried to help.

Yes, if you need glossy, just install the gnome-themes package alone.
