C'mon, guys, give it a break. Hope Nightingale will do well...
@Psumi, BTW, what it has to do with playlists? You mean libraries?

Songbird is a music app is it not? So it has playlists and whatnot, right?
Playlists are a list of music files that play when the playlist is loaded. I despise them.

I'm a Songbird user and was hoping something would pop up like this.
Hope it does well.

Your definition of playlists contains "playlist". A playlist is simply a list of tracks/files. Even a CD player capable of shuffling tracks uses some sort of playlist.

I'm talking about how totem opens files for playing, it replaces the entire playlist with that opened file, I LOVE that, I HATE that most music apps ADD TO THE PLAYLIST instead of REPLACING THE ENTIRE PLAYLIST.

Excellent news!
Hopefully they'll finally be able to get CD ripping sorted. It can't be that hard, can it?

I'm still using the old version of songbird..works fine for me.
I may try the new 1 if they remove the build in browser.
