Even though the RAM in question--PC2700 1 GB DDR333 SoDIMM--costs nearly 80 USD at some stores... and putting it in may cost upwards of 40 USD...
I have the money, and I will be doing it, I just can't stand having my RAM be used up so much.
Note that the current installed 512 MB RAM is not accessible by a normal person like me, to get to that RAM (aka, slot 1) I have to take apart the entire bottom and get it out.
