Sorry a ton for being retarded, but a Danish developer came up with blk-iopoll last year, a way more efficient way to utilize SSD-disks. Google reveals this: http://www.linuxhq.com/kernel/v2.6/32/block/blk-iopoll.c

As far as I can read it, it has been implemented in the kernel since 2.6.32 is that correct?

Is this enabled by default in Ubuntu or do I need to do something to enable it? My SSD should get here tomorrow and will receive a fresh serving of 10.04 Beta 2 once installed :)
