I just remembered about this: the first game I ever played on a computer, back in the 4th grade. :D
It was a 2D fighting game. It was Mario-style, meaning you were scrolling around a map from left to right kicking ***, until you met the bosses.
You could choose between 4 characters, one of them being a green elf IIRC. Each of them had a special ability; for example, one could quake the earth, another summoned thunders etc..
You could play 2 at one keyboard; while player A was walking the normal ground, player B was walking on some sort of a fence. (I think)
I briefly checked out Abandonia, but the titles and the screenshots don't look familiar.
Can anyone help? :D
