So I was playing with the wallpaper tray applet and it got me thinking it might be a nice idea to be able to switch my entire theme and wallpaper after a set time of every login or something.
I just wondered if there is anything like this for auto switching gtk and icon themes?

Though I do realise it might create it's own problems, some tray icons wouldn't change and a lot of open window would mean certain things wouldn't be applied in those so changing on login might be better.

I don't think there's any ready-made tool for this purpose, but you could of course write a simple script that uses gconftool-2 to change the theme at set intervals..
