I need to dual boot, and I cannot partition. I have gparted installed, but I have 1 partition (320GB) and i cannot partition it. I need a 25GB partition on that. Is there any way to do this? I can reboot and install dvds & so on. Thanks

EDIT: I know my profile says 9.10, but I run 9.04.

LOL Why didn't you edit your profile instead of the message?

How did you install gparted?

What's on that 320GB partition?

You should be able to re-size your 320 GB partition with gparted, If not download the gparted live CD.

Ok. The 320GB drive is my main drive, only partition, and has Ubuntu 9.04 on it.

I cant find where to edit it.... (new here)

Could you link me the the Live CD?

The "default" install CD's are Live CD's.

You can't mess with a partition while it's mounted. That's why you need the Live CD.
