Alright... total noob question I'm sure, but somehow I have lost 3 of my desktops. If you go to the cube it rotates with only 3 sides (I guess it has the Kubuntu top & bottom). Currently the only desktop I have is desktop #4... the rest are black, no panels or background. If anyone knows how to fix this... help?

Running Ubuntu 9.10 w/ gnome & newest kde desktops.

Guess no one had an answer... Here's the only way I found to fix the issue. Reinstalled kubuntu desktop from gnome terminal: sudo apt-get install kubuntu-desktop. All settings were retained miraclously! Thanks for all the help everyone!:lolflag:

BTW one of radical moves it to go to your HOME folder and then uncover all your hidden files by pressing ALT+. and then find your .Kde folder and delete it. Reboot your computer and that might help. But like is said this is solution if you have no other since this will remove all your settings in Kubuntu.
