Anybody but me wonder why we have to update tzdata every other day of the week? Does the chief of some tribe in Pago-Pago decide that his tribe is going to go on daylight saving time today or something? (no disrespect meant here of course).

...lol, haven't delve on the subject really, but if would be naive to say that it is purely for timesync purposes...anyway ubuntu sends updates for it, so i guess it's their worry...at least for the meantime that i can't comprehend its real function.

Last changes are
- Africa/Tunis (Tunesia): Drop DST permanently.
- Asia/Karachi (Pakistan): Drop DST permanently.
