I recently installed Windows 7 on my MSI laptop and the MSI web cam software (NOT THE DRIVER) seems not to work under any compatibility mode and crashes after a second I click it's icon. The camera works fine in skype, obviously the problem is not the driver, but I can't take pictures of myself, neither videos.

So, can you recommend a good (best?) web cam software for Windows 7?

Thanks.

webcamstudio is one word.
think it comes packaged for ubuntu on their website. pretty cool stuff if you are making webcasts with people on irc and want to show video clips and... umm... some part of your screen if you are doing a tutorial.

but to be honest I dont really see that many people needing software like this, unless if they are having troubles with their webcam and need to redirect it for flash or something to be able to pick it up.

I'd try the MSI (http://forum.msi.com.tw/) forums.
