A short time ago I installed the Ubuntu 9.10 Netbook remix on a 16gb flash drive. It works great on my old laptop that doesn\t have a harddrive anymore...But I'm having problems with it.
Whenever I install a new software or firefox themes\plugins, or even surf the web. Nothing is saved if I restart the computer. Browser history, softwares, flash plugin. GONE.
Maybe it\s because I use a USB drive but I have plenty of space left for that stuff on it! (about 12gb)

So my question is, since i can\t install ubuntu on it's hard drive because i removed it and cant find it...I want a stable ubuntu OS that I can easily put on my flash drive. Netbook remix or full version doesn't really matter...
Please help me, thanks!

Did you physically install the os on the flashdrive? Or is it that you used the Ubuntu USB creator to put Ubuntu on the flashdrive. If that is the case, then you will either want a persistent USB (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LiveUsbPendrivePersistent) or want to go through the whole setup process on the USB using an install CD.

I used the USB creator, sorry for being unclear on that part.
I'll take a look at the link, but how do I actually use the "install CD"
is that on my ubuntu computer?
