Apologies if this has been covered, I can't find it anywhere.
Yesterday, I decided it was finally time to move from hardy to koala.....I know I am late in the day to do this!
So, I decided to do it in stages, 8.04 to 8.10, 8.10 to 9.04, 9.04 to 9.10.
All seemed fine. Apart from 9.04 to 9.10 took many hours, now once it's complete I find that the log in screen seems to have changed to xubuntu, and there doesn't seem a way to change it back to the default.
Has anyone come across this before?
My system also seems slow, though I am not sure this is me being paranoid.
