Morning All,
I am using Ubuntu 10.4 alapha one, when the final release is out April 29 or so do I have to down load the whole thing again to get the maximum benefit or will the Updater just take the new bits?

Thanks Mike

Update Manager will update all necessary packages, (which is likely to be several hundred megabytes, close to the size of a complete download of the full release).

Given the scope of changes between the first Alpha of a release and the final released version, it would probably be faster to just download and install the released version, rather than wait for hundreds of updates to download and install.

Yeah thats what I was thinking I will have to down load or buy the whole system again,Update Manager is already indicating 482 mb of updates.I have already picked thru some, think a lot of the updates don,t really apply to me.Like the HP stuff, think there will be no more free cdroms but the price sounds fair enough.
Thanks Happy Easter All
