I recently upgraded two of my computers from 9.4 to 9.10. They are:
HP Pavilion a510n (Desktop)
Gateway T-1620 (Laptop)
Both are having the same problem. They are running at constant 100% CPU usage. when I look into the task manager there is no apparent cause. all active processes add up to at most 25%. On the desktop its just noisy cause the fan is always running at full blast. on the laptop however, it causes it to auto shutdown after 15 minutes or so due to overheating.
Im concerned that this is going to cause long term damage to my machines.
Any thoughts?
