Unmount Bootable ISO

Will an ISO mounted in Ubuntu Boot like A CD, Im following the In-Place upgrade instuctions from the alternate CD, and because brasero has been mysteriously not burning Bootabke ISOs properley, i mounted the ISO and ran the upgrade script.

ya' know what, it shouldnt boot since the BIOS is "in charge" of booting cds, once ubuntu i booted and it starts the FS, then the cd is mounted.
