Would someone do a port of MPD to warty?
Or should I just look for the debian package on the net, and install it?

The debian testing and unstable packages for MPD worked fine for me using Warty. I also used the gpmc (IIRC) graphical client, also from debian testing/unstable; quite a neat combination.

gpmc? I can't find it when I do a search in the debian packages in the firefox search extension. Could you please link me up?

if you add the package name you're searching for (eg gmpc) right after http://packages.debian.org (ie packages.debian.org/gmpc), it'll search the debian repositories.
packages.debian.org/gmpc -> http://packages.debian.org/cgi-bin/search_packages.pl?searchon=names&version=all&exact=1&keywords=gmpc

I'll look into backporting a copy of it for you.

Thanks, but don't make it too high priority, as the debian package worked fine.
lt_kije: Thanks... I did a search before, and couldn't find the package, but that link worked.
