firefox icon problem

Hallo to all. I am a new ubuntu user, i am using the 9.10 version and i am excited about this os. Today i got my first problem i couldn't solve. I installed an upgrade package and firefox 3.5 turned to namaroka. With this change my firefox icon ( i had changed the typical firefox icon with a custom one, via terminal --> sudo nautilus) turned to the launcher icon. Any solution to this?

Namaroka is the beta version of Firefox. I have the same problem and figuring out how to fix it was very frustrating so I gave up. In fact I get similar problems every time I upgrade. It's ridiculous! Updating your system should prevent such issues, not cause them!!

Another confused Ubuntu newbie.
