For a month or more I'm being operating Ubuntu @ home (having windows as a second OS) and XP @ work (having Ubuntu as a second).
Being home, I rarely need to boot into windows. I feel cosy here. At work I'm expected to use windows apps and I do so. There were problems adapting linux to windows network management and I gave up.
For my personal needs, increasing download rates 10-20 times, and having lots of free software available is enough to choose it.

Glad you like it. I tried some other distros and I just kept coming back to Ubuntu.
