hi all, i am new to ubuntu and i have a problem in installing my wireless modem of BSNL .
it's a make of "TERACOM" TYPE II ADSL 2 +CPE/IAD modem ,i successfully connected
this modem in windows vista in both wired n wire less but in ubuntu i am not able to connect in wire less ,though it works fine in wired mode in ubuntu .i didn't install any extra drivers for the wireless connection is it require?if so what drivers are needed?so please help me with this. THanx in advance.........

I updated my Ubuntu to 9.10 this week, are you getting the wireless signal,(bars on toolbar) if you right click on it will bring down a drop down menu for your password to start the wi-fi access. steve

In my pc it is not showing the wireless signal status on the tool bar ,but earlier i have observed that signal status (before i reinstalled ubuntu on my pc)before reinstallation also i had same problem!
