This is all very interesting to us as Canonical themselves were bought out by Microsoft. This means that our shill checks should still be coming in the mail, at least.

IMO, no. It looks too much like a cheap knock-off. It's hard to compete with the market leader and imitation only goes so far. The innovation is missing.

That's right! I just installed Ubuntu on my car! **** that proprietary OBD-II crap, it's pure GPLv3 from here out!

My 1996 Honda Civic, which I affectionately have dubbed my "Ego Tripper", now runs Ubuntu 10.04 Beta.

Now, I'm currently only getting 13 miles per gallon, and the factory stereo doesn't pick up stations or pipe sound through the speakers, but I'm confident that I can have it fixed before the next release. Don't let those setbacks take away from the fact that my car is now Free!
