View Full Version : Install Debian Testing directly from the Netinst image?

I heard people say this was possible. I've been on a trip so I haven't gotten to play around with it much myself, but I'm just curious if anyone could explain this a little. I looked through parts of the installation a little and I didn't see anything that said "Install Debian Testing Specifically Here!" Anywhere I can go that will just sort of show me how to do it step by step, or at least some hints on where I need to go and what I need to choose in the Netinst installation?

I've tried installing Stable and making the switch to Testing on my own, but had nothing but trouble when it came to actually updating (after changing the sources list and everything of course). So the idea of just using the Netinst image to automatically load Debian Testing interests me lol.

Thanks. :)

You simply start out with a different netinst image, the testing one, as opposed to the stable.
