Hi everyone,
I'm interested in upgrading to Ubuntu 10.04 beta. How do I do this?
Do I put it on a bootable disk, and then boot from the disk?
If there's problems, what do I do? Do I contact Ubuntu, or what?
Most importantly, do I lose all my files?
Thanks everyone!

1. Backup all your files/data that you want to keep
2. Download/Burn beta iso (if you haven't already done so)
3. Install from disk
4. Enjoy!

That's not really an upgrade, that's a reinstall.
Either way, back up your files.
You can do it over the net with "gksudo update-manager -d"
or
You can download the alternate install CD and upgrade from that.
Do you research first so that you don't run into issues.

Please post your beta-related questions to the correct forum: Development & Programming, Lucid Lynx Testing.
I will be asking the Mods to move this thread there. Look there for any responses.
