My wife is into looking up family history and I am trying to find a download of a family tree to organize her info any help would be great

Such a function exists in OpenOffice Word processor... Its normally used to make a chapter/paragraph tree... but you can write your family names in it... :) Looks nice too

Thanks I'll check it out and see if we can use it. I am sure that she will want to record birth and death dates. It would be a start though, again thank you:D

If you're looking for decent genealogy software check out Gramps (http://gramps-project.org/). It's powerful, and I believe it's in Ubuntu's repositories.

Or you could also consider an online family tree building website.
Google brings up quite a few options, I use http://www.geni.com

gramps is pretty good, and you can then export to a bunch of formats( including a website if you want)

I downloaded gramps before i came to work I am sure it will work fine just got to work with it for a while you guys are great cannot thank you enough:KS
