I usually use Pidgin on my computer, however, when I boot it, the tray icon looks like this

Which is extremely ugly When I want it to look like this

The only way I found to do this is making gnome-panel less than 32px, and then 32px again, but its tedious to do everytime I boot. Any better solution?
