I'm a complete n00b to Linux, just made the switch from windows 7 to Ubuntu, I like how Ubuntu looks, and it feels faster, but I don't know how to use it.
-My internet doesn't work (i think i need a driver - Marvell Topdog Wireless-N)
-I have some files on my hard drive, how do I navigate to them with Linux?
Please help, and keep in mind I'm a n00b, try not to get too much into technical terms, or at least explain them, so that I can become better educated with Linux.

EDIT - If it helps at all, my computer is a Gateway Laptop m6----(forgot the number - it's the red one with adapter problems.)
