Looking for a good "slide show" screensaver maker for ubuntu that can deal with jpeg's. All I see on cnet is 2-1/2 star stuff, "free" betas, and other veiled attempts to sell me something.

Are you looking for something that will rotate photos you already have saved on your hard drive? If so, I recommend Wallpaper Tray. You might want to also play around with Drapes. Both can be installed with synaptic.
