Anytime I try to install something from terminal or synaptic.
(Reading database ... dpkg: unrecoverable fatal error, aborting:
files list file for package 'laptop-detect' is missing final newline
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (2)
I am not using a laptop, laptop-detect is already installed, re-install fails... I get the same message no matter what I try.
