Trouble w/ Update Manager & Ubuntu 10.04

I am trying to install Ubuntu 10.04 using the Update Manager. I have tried ALT-F2, then typing in update -manager -d but only `regular' updates are found, not the beta version of the upgrade to 10.04. How can this be fixed - I checked in setting for the Update Manger, but everything seems fine, I certainly have not changed anything & normal upgrade is checked. Please help.

Are you doing this on a test system? So far most of the people I have seen run the upgrade in the past few weeks has ended with a broken install and had to do a clean install, which I recommend doing. I just ran update-manager -d in a terminal and it opened the update manager and 10.04 showed as avail at the top, again I do not recommend going that route.
