I cann't immagine how could this happen. I've had problems with a "broken mythbuntu package" and reported it thrugh the report window into launchpad, only to get my mail inbox spammed with techy mails.
Yesterday I updated my 10.04 alpha and then shut down. Today I turn it on and in stead of the name "Ubuntu" and the little balls changing colors at startup it said "Mythbuntu".
The desktop was non-existant: i could move the mouse arround and the clock was up right. No menues, nothing.
I understand that an alpha version will have bugs. But public updates break everything automatically? I am disappointed.
